This young midfielder became the fourth
Monarch in his school history to be selected first
team All-American by the NSCAA/Adidas. In
2006, the senior forward was selected first team
All-CAA and led both Old Dominion
University and the CAA with 11 goals, and six
assists for 28 total points. Elcock also earned
first team NSCAA All-Regional honors and was
named national player of the week by Soccer
News. Elcock was also honored by the Norfolk
Sports Club with the Tom Scott award which is
presented to ODU's top senior student athlete.
First team All-CAA and tied for second on the
team with six goals in 2005. Before ODU and
while playing for Wingate University in 2003,
he was named Freshman of the Year in the
SAC conference after finishing sixth in the
conference in goals and points. He then signed
a professional contract with the Kansas City
Wizards of the MLS and now joins the PR
Islanders in 2008. |
