Telesford played his collegiate soccer at Liberty University, where he started 65 of 66 matches from 2003 to 2006, scoring 8 goals and assisting on 8 more. He was named to the All Big South Conference Team all four years. While at Liberty he also played for the Carolina Dynamo of the USL Premier Development League.
Telesford earned his first cap for the Trinidad and Tobago national football team in January of 2007 during the Caribbean Digicel Cup and has 5 caps to date. He was previously a regular fixture on the U-23 and U-20 levels.
He was drafted in the 2nd round, 21st overall, by the Chicago Fire in the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft, and played 2 games for them, before being transferred to Puerto Rico in early 2008. He is a great addition to our 2008 mid-field.
