One of the most experienced local players in
the team. He played for Academia
Quintana’s youth teams, helping the club win
many championships. He has been a member
of the Puerto Rican National Team in both,
soccer and futsal. He also had a short stint in
Brazil’s professional soccer in the mid 1990s.
He joined the Puerto Rico Islanders in 2004
standing out as the starting right back. In the
2005 CONCACAF Gold Cup Qualifiers in
Trinidad & Tobago he scored the tying goal.
In 2005, he played 21 games, being named to
the Team of the Week #7. In 2006, he
appeared in 9 games. His most recent international cap was in the 2008 World Cup
Qualifiers @ Puerto Rico where they got
through the first round with a 1-0 victory
over Dominican Republic. After a great 2007
season, he returns to his 5th season with the
PR Islanders in 2008. |
